Greetings from the East Coast! The Canadian Mental Health Association – Nova Scotia Division & Nova Scotia Health Promotion & Protection, along with a group of incredibly dedicated volunteers, are busily preparing for the 2010 Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention National Conference at Alderney Landing Cultural Centre, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia from October 5 – 7, 2010.

It is our hope that this conference will shed light on innovative and promising community development, community-based clinical, and research practice and trends in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention. We are thrilled to create this opportunity for communities, survivors, youth, community-based workers and practitioners, and researchers to share and showcase their experience and research based knowledge and its applications.
We welcome you to join us as we work to create an atmosphere where renewed hope, understanding, and interconnectedness serve to rekindle the commitment and dedication to addressing suicide in communities across Canada.
